Job Summary:

The HR Operations and Payroll Analyst will be responsible for managing and optimizing HR processes and systems, ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor laws. This role involves handling HR data, supporting employee lifecycle management, and improving operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a good understanding of HR practices in India. This position will report to the Senior Manager, People Operations & Systems.
What You Will Do As A People Operations & Analyst
· Manage onboarding, employee records, transfers, promotions, and offboarding processes within our HRIS.
· Ensure accuracy and completeness of employee data in HR systems.
· Maintain HR systems including Workday and generate regular reports on employee metrics (e.g., attrition, attendance, and performance).
· Perform data analysis to identify trends and recommend actionable insights to HR leadership.
· Ensure adherence to labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
· Maintain and update employee documentation (e.g., contracts, agreements, and statutory forms).
· Collaborate with payroll vendor to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
· Collaborate with benefits vendor to ensure smooth enrollment processes.
· Verify employee attendance and leave data for payroll calculations.
· Train employees and HR team members on using HR tools effectively.
· Address employee queries related to policies, benefits, and HR processes.
· Provide guidance on resolving operational HR issues.
· Identify gaps in existing HR processes and recommend improvements.
· Assist in automating and streamlining repetitive tasks for greater efficiency.
What You Will Bring As A People Operations & Analyst
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
· 4+ years of experience in HR operations or a related role.
· Familiarity with Indian labor laws and statutory compliance (e.g., PF, ESI, Gratuity).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in HRIS systems, Workday experience preferred
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
· Experience with payroll systems and processes, Safeguard experience is a plus.
· Familiarity with tools like SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or similar HR platforms.
· Certification in HR or related fields (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) preferred.
