The team collaborates closely with architects and engineers to deliver high-quality, professional designs. Our client is looking for a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to create technical drawings for aluminium curtain wall and window systems. You’ll work directly with the lead designer, produce accurate shop drawings, and help ensure projects are completed on time. This flexible, remote role offers the chance to grow with the company and take on more responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities

Create detailed shop drawings using AutoCAD (floor plans, elevations, and details) for aluminium curtain wall, window, and door systems
Transform architectural concepts into precise technical drawings
Review and incorporate feedback from architects and engineers into drawing revisions
Maintain quality control standards across all technical documentation
Meet project milestones and delivery deadlines
Collaborate with the principal designer on drawing reviews and optimizations
Support project documentation and organize drawing sets

Requirements

Proven experience with AutoCAD software and technical drawing creation
Knowledge of aluminium framing systems and curtain wall construction
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Reliable internet connection and home office setup for remote work
Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently
Professional English communication skills
Flexibility to manage varying workload intensities
Minimum availability of 10 hours per week
Experience with commercial construction documentation (preferred)
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to read and download aluminium framing systems from English websites (translator apps acceptable)
Willingness to learn aluminium window framing systems, doors, hardware, and glass systems (e.g., Alumicor, Kawneer, Commdoor). Some training will be provided
