Key responsabilities:

  • Lead design efforts to create intuitive user experiences for web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate product goals into innovative design solutions.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights for design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs while ensuring design consistency across the product.

As the super-platform for non-professional soccer in Europe, we bring pro-level experiences (news, data, gamification) to the mega-community of +190 million footballers and soccer fans.

We are a startup founded in 2021 in Cologne, Germany - our team consists of 40+ smart and "hungry" members working on Prematch in our offices in Cologne and Berlin (Marketing & Business Team) or remotely across Europe (Tech & Product Team).

  • Leading our design efforts in creating intuitive and delightful user experiences. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of our product, from conceptualizing new features to refining existing ones
  • Your expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design will be key in crafting solutions that meet our users’ needs and drive engagement. Working closely with our development and product teams, you’ll turn insights into beautiful, functional designs that enhance our user experience and contribute to our product’s success

Your mission
  • Design user-centric interfaces and experiences for web and mobile applications
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate product goals into innovative design solutions
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and inform design decisions
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements
  • Ensure design consistency and coherence across the entire product
  • Take on further design tasks across departments (e.g. Brand Partnerships)
What do you need
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills (ideally with a focus on mobile interfaces)
  • Degree in product design, UX/UI design, Human-Computer Interaction or a related field
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and responsive design
  • Experience in conducting user research and usability testing
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate design ideas and prototypes
Advantage but not a must
  • Motion Design Skills are a plus
  • Frontend Dev Skills are a plus
