Job description

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Backend Engineer with hands-on experience in Next.js, Azure cloud services, MongoDB, and Auth0. You will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend systems that power modern web applications, with a strong focus on performance, security, and seamless user authentication.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services using Next.js (API routes and server-side logic)
Design and implement secure authentication and authorization flows using Auth0
Work with MongoDB to create efficient, scalable data models and queries
Deploy and manage backend applications on Microsoft Azure
Collaborate with frontend and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Ensure high performance, uptime, and responsiveness of backend services
Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews

Requirements

Proven experience developing backend logic with Next.js (API routes or full-stack SSR/ISR)
Strong understanding of MongoDB, including schema design and query optimization
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Cosmos DB, Functions)
Proficiency with Auth0 or similar authentication/authorization platforms
Solid knowledge of RESTful API design and integration
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
