About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Support Lead to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of supporting a mixed fleet of devices, including Windows and Apple laptops. The role involves managing and provisioning IT systems across both platforms using Microsoft and Apple management tools.

What you’ll do

  • Lead IT support operations - for a mixed fleet of Windows and Mac devices, ensuring seamless day-to-day support.

  • Leverage Microsoft IT management - systems including M365, Intune, EntraID, and Azure AD to administer and manage devices and corporate user access.

  • SSO - Assist and support the Engineering in configuration and maintenance of SSO.

  • Device Onboarding - Provision and manage Mac devices via Apple Business Manager and Apple Configurator.

  • Provide technical support to BoardOutlook employees (end-users), troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues across both Windows and Mac platforms.

  • Compliance tasks - Conduct systems checks to ensure key security features are enabled.

  • Continuous improvement - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient IT operations and support processes.

  • Security alerts - Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and tools, recommending improvements to existing IT infrastructure.

  • Internal Documentation - Develop internal education materials to ensure staff understand how to use technology and systems.

  • Conduct IT risk assessments and develop remediation plans. This role must:

  • Work with CTO and MD to confirm plans of action/approach to risk remediation.

  • Conduct research and provide recommendations on the best practical approach for technical uplift - leveraging external specialist advisors as necessary.

  • Manage change and roll-out/coordinate new IT processes, policies or general uplift.

  • Conduct testing of new systems or processes to ensure functionality.

  • Ensure all new processes are documented in line with our policies.
