Essential Skills / Experience:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in solutions sales in one of the following industries: MSPs, IT Infrastructure or Networking, Cloud Solutions, , SaaS, Cybersecurity).
  • Excellent understanding of the industry including competitive issues.
  • Strong working knowledge of IT consulting, products, and services.
  • Adept at cold calling, networking, and prospecting.
  • Ability to build client relationships over the phone/online.
  • Excellent phone, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to type at least 50 words per minute.

Core Job Functions:

  • Develop leads and create appointments with clients for our comprehensive network health assessment.
  • Develop sales plans, prepare sales sheets and metrics, and stay on top of outbound sales activities.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships through understanding their needs.
  • Facilitating the answers to any technical questions the client might have.
  • Make calls to prospective clients.
  • Use subscription lists and various non-customer contacts to promote DTS and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Track and record lead and appointment information in our CRM system (ConnectWise).
  • Follow up on leads generated by our website and our marketing automation platform.
  • Meet with current clients on a monthly basis to review support issues and obtain referrals.

  • Interest in a long term commitment.
  • Secure and quiet work area with ability to carry out a phone conversation with little or no background noise.
  • Internet connection capability of at least 20 Mbit download.
  • Reliable power (must have a whole house UPS if unreliable)
  • Able to pass a background check.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • R25,000 - R35,000 per month or more depending on skills and experience.
  • R100,000 average in commissions for each new client obtained.
  • 30 days paid time off per year.
  • Quarterly performance bonus plan.
