POSITION SUMMARY
The Student Qualifying Representative is responsible for advancing the University’s growth efforts at The Chicago School. The Representative is expected to make initial contact with prospective student who are seeking information about the program and the university, ensure that the prospective student meets established qualifications, and transfer the prospective student to the appropriate Admissions Representatives.
This is a remote position. Limited local and regional travel may be required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Engage with prospective students, including but not limited to:
Through outbound calling, completing calls in accordance with established scripts and policies.
By responding to all new student inquiries quickly and by maintaining consistent communication with the prospect.
By engaging with prospective students through the web chat platform.
Qualify prospective students and successfully transfer them to an Admissions Representative.
Maintenance of records and effective communication, including but not limited to.
Maintain Salesforce database through inquiry management, proper documentation, logging of calls and activities, and a purposeful contact strategy.
Positively and professionally represent the university through telephone-based, virtual, and in-person meetings and events.
Maintain communication with all admissions staff and or other departments within the university.
Perform other duties as assigned.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Effective communication and listening skills.
The ability to learn and work within admissions databases and CRM tools.
The ability to work evenings and weekends.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in higher education.
Proven ability to take initiative, problem solve, and work in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and matrixed environment to achieve outstanding results.
Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This opportunity is budgeted at $22.00-$24.00 base compensation. Additional compensation factors may impact total compensation.
