The Diagnostics and Genomics Sales Specialist is responsible for leading the Diagnostics and Genomics portfolio strategy and tactics and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals and provide expert support to customers.

This position reports to the APAC Diagnostics and Genomics leader and is part of the APAC Diagnostics and Genomics team located in Seoul, Korea and will be working remotely to manage Diagnostics and Genomics business in Korea.  

What you will do:

  • Attain sales targets through direct customer interactions and collaboration with account managers, channel team, and marketing team
    • Work closely with Global and APAC teams to set and execute strategies and tactics, report metrics, and secure necessary support and solutions
    • Participate in the annual planning process, including strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts. Engage in regular financial and operational reviews, such as revenue assessments and project meetings to monitor progress
    • Provide comprehensive support, including product demonstrations, seminars, training, and assistance to meet territory sales objectives
    • Offer insights to the commercial teams on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to enhance customer value through expanded company offerings

Who you are:

  • Master's degree in biochemistry, biotechnology, immunology, life sciences, or a related field
    • Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience, preferably in the diagnostics, life sciences, medical, or healthcare-related industry
    • Experience in immunodiagnostics assay fields is required

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Language/Environment Requirements:

  • Fluent level of English & Korean in written and verbal communications
  • Ability to travel abroad upon business needs 
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record within the territory or location
  • If foreign national, legal work permit is required to pursue employment contract by Korean immigration la

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Knowledge of Chemiluminescence, Next Generation Sequencing, or Organoid is a plus
