Perfaware is looking for a skilled OMS Business Analyst with recent experience on the Salesforce platform to join our team. In this role, you will act as the critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping to define, analyze, and optimize order management and omnichannel inventory processes within Salesforce. 

As an OMS Business Analyst, your expertise will drive successful Salesforce OMS implementations that enhance order lifecycle management and inventory visibility across channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead discovery sessions to gather and analyze business requirements related to order management, fulfillment, and inventory across omnichannel environments.
  • Document detailed functional and non-functional requirements for Salesforce OMS configurations and integrations.
  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce architects, leads, and business stakeholders to design scalable OMS solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Define user stories and acceptance criteria for Salesforce OMS features including order orchestration, sourcing rules, and inventory reservations.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to align cross-functional teams on OMS processes such as Available-to-Promise (ATP), ship-from-store, and returns management.
  • Support testing activities including creating test cases, coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and assisting with issue resolution during Salesforce OMS deployments.
  • Analyze order and inventory data to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend automation using Salesforce Flow and analytics tools.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date process documentation, including as-is and to-be workflows for omnichannel order fulfillment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 1 year focused on Salesforce OMS and inventory solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce OMS capabilities such as order lifecycle management, sourcing and allocation rules, and omnichannel inventory concepts.
  • Experience with Salesforce platform configuration including Process Builder, Flow, Reports, and Dashboards.
  • Familiarity with integration patterns involving REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms like MuleSoft, Boomi or Kafka.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Good to Have:

  • Salesforce Business Analyst, Platform App Builder, or Order Management Specialist certifications.
  • Experience with ERP/WMS integrations (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to support inventory and order synchronization
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning in digital commerce and supply chain technologies.
