Qualifications
Minimum 1-year proven experience as a Head of Finance or CFO in a
D2C e-commerce brand
Proven track record of reliability and growth in previous roles
Effective communicator.
Capacity to manage and lead people
Self-motivated to achieve the desired goals
Strong understanding of e-commerce finances
Deep understanding of e-commerce and physical goods markets
Quick learner and willingness to learn
Capacity to work independently and as a team
Self-organization skills.
Responsibilities
Financial Monitoring
Create the systems to ensure weekly and monthly financial reports, such as cash flow statement, income statement, balance sheet, etc.
Monitor, build and refine our automatic P&L, ensure its accuracy and reliability and extract key information
Monitor our expenses, and eliminate all useless expenses
Coordinate the work with freelance accountants for tax returns, VAT, etc.
Ensure proper reconciliation of cash on hand with our financial reports
In the future, supervise a team of in-house accountants
Financial Advising
Advise the C-Suite on ways to make the company more financially efficient
Advise on company structure for tax / goal purposes for 2025
Advise the CEO and C-Suite on the best tax practices
Forecast the company’s overhead and find ways to optimize it
Provide support to the C-Suite to support the growth and expansion of the company safely.
Provide support to our Operations and Amazon teams to ensure proper financial management of inventory purchases
Financial Strategizing
Connect the company with the best payment processors, software providers, tools that can help us to reduce payment processor fees, find software discounts, etc.
Create strategies to limit, forecast and optimize unexpected costs
Automate financial processes such as invoicing, bookkeeping, etc.
Find strategies to shorten payouts time from payment processors, making sure the funds arrive as soon as possible
