As our new Identity and Access Management Administrator I, you will be responsible for managing unique identities, security, and access for State employees, Colorado county employees, vendors, contractors, and external stakeholders. You will be tasked with ensuring that customer requests for security access are completed in a timely manner within SLC, participates in projects, and various meetings, be responsible for meeting deliverables, following security, audit, and compliance, and provides second level technical support to the Service Desk, relays proficient methods for provisioning, and performs ticket management. This position is responsible for working with various functional teams within OIT, agencies, and vendors to provide proper security for the network, remote access, Windows Active Directory, and various agency applications. In This Role, You Will Ensure that access control for agencies is practiced according to security policies and provision accounts according to documented procedures. Initiate dialog with appropriate support teams to troubleshoot issues/problems with requested/assigned access. Collaborate with the Application teams, Server teams and Deskside teams to resolve issues/conflicts with access. Manage and prioritize service tickets. Notify appropriate personnel of any discrepancies, security breaches, suspicious activity or other security issues. Maintain confidentiality. This includes escalated sensitive accounts. Share IAM standard concepts, practices, and procedures for role based access controls, access approval, privileged access management, segregation of duties, access recertification and identity controls. Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions Of Employment & Appeal Rights A wide salary range is posted for this position and any job offer is based upon a salary analysis to comply with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and state seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. Minimum Qualifications This is a skills-based job announcement. The required minimum qualifications and/or education (if substituting for the proven experience, knowledge, and skills), are as follows: One year of professional experience in an occupational field related to the work assigned to the position, to include experience as a dedicated Identity and Access Management professional, working within an enterprise-level Identity & Access Management environment. Substitutions Additional appropriate education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications. Training or Certification related to the work assigned to the position will be assigned credit towards substitution for experience and/or education, but cannot completely substitute for these qualifications. If the minimum qualifications include a degree requirement, additional appropriate paid or unpaid experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Conditions Of Employment OIT employees must comply with any screening procedures in place at state entity locations where they might be required to perform work. A pre-employment background check will be conducted as part of the selection process. Positions supporting some agencies such as the Department of Corrections and the Department of Public Safety will also require a pre-employment drug test. This position may require travel within the specified geographic area, and to locations across the state as needed. All remote work must be performed in Colorado. While candidates from out of state will be considered for this role, the candidate selected for the position must relocate and reside in Colorado on the first day of their new position.
