ABOUT THE ROLE:
This is a key role in our team reporting into the Deputy Editor. Day-to-day tasks will include pitching ideas, writing engaging copy quickly, working across the site, social platforms, newsletter and print magazine. It will also involve responding to reader enquiries as well as some general office duties including sending out commissioning forms, invoicing and dealing with post as well as helping with any upcoming Prima events.
Key responsibilities:
Pitching and writing news stories for online
Writing entertainment and lifestyle articles for online and print
Building the weekly newsletter
Contributing to social media output
Working with the Deputy Editor to track and interpret data to inform content decisions.
To help support the team with brand events
To be an ambassador of Hearst UK and its values.
You may be required to undertake such further duties as your skills, qualifications and experience allow and/or as may be assigned to you from time to time.
