Minimum Qualifications Three (3) years of related professional-level work experience in the field of occupational health and safety. AND A Bachelor’s or higher-level degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene (or closely related field). OR: Five (5) years of related professional level work experience in the field of occupational health and safety. If you meet the above minimum qualifications, please ensure that your resume illustrates your knowledge, skills and abilities in the following: Experience with federal and state occupational safety and health rules and regulations, ergonomics, techniques of injury prevention and hazard evaluation. Experience developing and conducting safety training. Experience identifying occupational safety and health problems, developing and implementing solutions. Valid Driver’s License is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a field environment which includes highway right-of-way, maintenance truck stations, mechanic shops, and office settings. Certification as a Certified Safety Professional or Occupational Health and Safety Technologist. Experience with hazardous materials and hazardous waste management programs.
