ServiceNow Technical Consultant - HAM
Remote Role
5+Month Contract

Overview
Client is seeking a Sr. ServiceNow Technical Consultant with extensive experience in implementing ServiceNow solutions, particularly in ITSM, ITOM, and HAM. This role involves customizing and optimizing ServiceNow applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, and mentoring junior developers in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, focusing on IT Asset Management (HAM), Hardware Asset Management, and Software Asset Management (SAM).
Collaborate with the architecture team to design and implement solutions that meet client requirements.
Optimize and maintain existing ServiceNow applications for performance and scalability.
Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in ServiceNow development.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Develop integrations with other business systems and applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the ServiceNow environment.
Stay updated on new ServiceNow features and technologies, incorporating them into solutions where applicable.
Communicate technical problems and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Document and obtain approval for final solutions.
Contribute to the development of *** IP solutions in ServiceNow.
Coach and advise other developers on best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of ServiceNow design and development experience.
Experience with customizing ServiceNow applications such as ITAM, ITSM, custom apps, and SAM.
Strong experience in gathering business requirements and developing technical design documents.
Experience with configuring ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and setting up MID servers.
Experience with custom integrations (REST/SOAP, Flow Designer, Scripted REST API).
Proven experience developing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale ServiceNow applications and systems.
At least two full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations in the role of a lead consultant.
Expertise in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or others.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts in understandable business terms.
