Head of Large Cyber

As Head of Large Cyber at Ambridge, you will lead the strategic direction, underwriting performance, and portfolio development of our large cyber risk segment. You’ll drive innovation in product design, pricing, and risk assessment while strengthening our market position as a leader in complex cyber coverage. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring deep cyber insurance expertise, strong broker relationships, and a commercial mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Portfolio Leadership: Own the strategy, performance, and growth of the Large Cyber portfolio, with a focus on underwriting discipline, profitability, and sustainable expansion in key markets.

Underwriting Oversight:

Lead complex risk evaluation, deal structuring, and pricing for large-scale cyber accounts, ensuring consistency with Ambridge’s risk appetite and underwriting guidelines.

Market & Broker Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for major brokers and clients in the large cyber space, driving distribution strategy and strengthening external relationships.

Product Innovation: Identify emerging cyber trends and lead the development of cutting-edge products and solutions tailored to large enterprises and evolving digital threats.

Leadership & Collaboration: Manage and mentor a high-performing team of underwriters and analysts, while working cross-functionally with claims, actuarial, legal, and reinsurance to drive business results.

Governance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory standards, and reporting requirements; contribute to executive-level insights and strategic decision-making.
