Overview
To provide a variety of administrative support functions in support of the daily operations of the Personal Finance Management Branch. Evaluate and research inquiries from internal/external sources and/or members; respond to, resolve or arrange for resolution. May serve as contact coordinator by handling phone calls, advising members to complete online forms, and/or schedule financial counseling appointments, or refer member to appropriate staff member.
Responsibilities
Maintain data files, folders, spreadsheets, and related documentation
Monitor, sort, and distribute correspondence, E-mail, incoming mail, faxes, E-messages, and internal oral communication
Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies and/or processing issues, including documentation and time-sensitive issues
Monitor, track, and update action items in databases
Complete data entry in automated systems
Gather and prepare data for various reports and projects
Review counseling notes, modification requests and data; take appropriate action
Respond to and process proposals from outside debt management agencies
Act as liaison for outside debt management agencies
Operate and maintain standard office equipment
Maintain inventory, order and stock office materials and supplies
Serve as mentor/trainer, and provide guidance and assistance to team members
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience in performing administrative support functions
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Effective clerical, technical or administrative skills
Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills
Effective skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives, and information clearly and concisely
Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions

Working knowledge of NFCU products, services, programs, policies, and procedures
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 10:30AM - 7:00PM CST
