Job description

Responsibilities Hexagon is seeking to hire a highly motivated individual for a Software Development position. Candidate should have sharp analytical capabilities, great technical skills, and the ability to generate innovative solutions. You will be working in a Scrum team environment with a talented group of professional software developers. You will be supporting industry-leading plant design CAD software while using state-of-the-art tools and technologies while building next generation 2D/3D computer aided design systems that run on mobile devices, web browsers, and Windows PCs. This position offers excellent opportunities for growth and career advancement. You will be expected to work collaboratively with your team members, your manager, and your product owner. You will also need to interact with members of the quality assurance, support, and documentation groups. This work requires analytical thinking, the use of independent judgment, and the ability to apply software principles in the solution of programming problems. Education / Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (preferably Computer Science or Software Engineering). Proficiency in modern computer languages such as C++ and C#. Knowledge/Experience in database applications (SQL/Oracle) and workflows. Analytical skills in understanding workflows and proficiency in debugging software issues Effective verbal and written communication skills. A passion for learning new technologies. Must be able to adapt quickly and be able to learn new technologies through formal courses or on-the-job training. Experience with computer graphics is highly valuable. Experience with web programming and working with cloud services is a plus. Hexagon will not sponsor applicants for a work visa for this position.
