This remote role is responsible for providing third-line Infrastructure and Security support across the estate. It encompasses both project implementation and day-to-day management of the on-premise and cloud environments (Azure, M365, Microsoft Defender, Oracle Cloud, etc.), as well as the server and network infrastructure across all offices and sites. We are seeking a versatile engineer—a true "Swiss Army knife"—who is comfortable working with a broad range of technologies outlined in the person specification below. Most crucially, strong network experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Projects
Planning /Implementing network infrastructure for Greenergy sites in UK & Internationally
Responsible for either leading or contributing to infrastructure projects
Working with the team for the delivery of new infrastructure and services into live environment and acceptance of service into operational environment
Responsible for ensuring documentation is produced for services and activities are consistent with best practice, including Operations Guides
Security
Pro-active Business and Operational Technology Cyber Security to ensure it’s in line with good practice
Accountable for the integrity, security and successful operation of all systems and data across the infrastructure
Adherence to operational procedures and industry best practices
BAU
Responsible for the day-to-day support of the infrastructure across all Greenergy sites, data centres and cloud services (Azure/O365 etc)
Day-to-day liaison with key partners and third party local suppliers, including issue escalation.
Leading the management and/or the technical resolution of major incidents
Responsible for the identification of efficient and effective improvements to manage enterprise class infrastructure General: Client and company driven by a 24x7 operating environment, so some out of hours or weekend work will also be required on an ad hoc basis.
One of the areas this role will cover is our Terminals and Plants so experience of Operational Technology will be beneficial/desirable.
The role is remote but there might be requirement to travel to sites to deliver projects.

Experience with Cisco Networking technology – Configuring Cisco/Meraki Switches / Firewalls / Access Point, Meraki SDWAN/SASE (CCNA Preferred) - Essential
