The UnitedLex Contracts Services Group is excited to hire a Contracts Manager into our expanding, dynamic team to support existing client relationships by assisting the client in its sourcing department.
This is a remote position, and we welcome applicants from Mexico.
Responsibilities
Lead the review, analysis, and interpretation of intricate contractual agreements, extracting key terms, conditions, and potential areas of concern.
Collaborate closely with legal teams to ensure contracts align with corporate policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
Mentor and guide junior contract analysts in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing contracts, amendments, and other contract-related documents.
Maintain a comprehensive and well-organized repository of contracts and associated documentation, ensuring easy accessibility for relevant stakeholders.
Monitor the execution and compliance of contracts, tracking critical milestones, deadlines, and deliverables.
Provide proactive identification of contract-related issues and risks, offering strategic recommendations and solutions to mitigate potential problems.
Facilitate effective communication and resolution of contract matters by liaising with internal departments, external partners, and legal experts.
Play a key role in contract negotiations and discussions, advocating for the company's interests while fostering collaborative relationships with partners.
Stay abreast of industry developments, changes in legal landscapes, and emerging best practices related to contract management.
Assist in evaluating vendor, supplier, and client relationships, ensuring that contracts are favorable to the organization.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract management processes, systems, and tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Law is a must.
Extensive IT law experience (4+ years) as a Contract Analyst, Contract Manager, or in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and advanced contract drafting techniques.
Exceptional analytical prowess with the ability to discern complex contract intricacies and recommend viable solutions.
Outstanding organizational abilities with a proven track record of managing multiple contracts of varying complexity simultaneously.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, essential for collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in contract management software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant business tools.
Proven leadership capabilities, with a natural aptitude for mentoring and guiding junior team members.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively handle pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
As the initial client provides healthcare solutions, some knowledge of insurance and/or healthcare is preferred but not required.
The role will be fully remote and must be available for usual business hours in the United States, with some ability to respond to occasional after-hours requests, as required by the business.
