Job description

Compensation: $83,000 - $100,000 per year. You are eligible for a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 10% of your annual earnings; terms and conditions apply.

Manager, PFS – Analyst - Remote PST

The Revenue Cycle Analytics Manager plays a critical leadership role at the intersection of revenue cycle operations and data analytics. Reporting directly to the Director, PFS - Operations, this role is responsible for driving strategic initiatives through the development and oversight of actionable analytics. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in clinical laboratory revenue cycle management, particularly in genetic testing, with advanced data skills to deliver insights that improve operational efficiency and financial outcomes. 

 Essential Functions

  • Oversee and validate custom reporting requests to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and alignment with business goals
  • Monitor and continuously refine key performance indicators (KPIs) such as denial rates, payer turnaround times, appeal success rates, and payer-specific cash trends
  • Independently build, validate, and socialize revenue cycle analytics dashboards to leadership
  • Analyze billing and revenue cycle data to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them. Provide denial and/or reimbursement data analyses, develop meaningful insights
  • Continuously monitor the payer landscape to identify trends, emerging risks, and reimbursement changes that could impact laboratory revenue
  • Design and conduct ad hoc audits and data-driven assessments to support internal compliance and respond to external payer audits
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, billing, compliance, and finance teams to ensure alignment between analytics initiatives and organizational goals 
  • Lead or support special projects as assigned by leadership, often involving strategic planning, technology integration, or process optimization
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have ability to adapt to a fast paced, dynamic environment 
  • 5+ years of experience in revenue cycle management 
  • 5+ years of experience with XiFiN software
  • High school diploma required

Preferred

  • 8+ years of experience in a clinical laboratory preferred, especially genetic billing 
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Business Intelligence, and Microsoft PowerBI preferred
