Job description
This is a remote position.
Overview :
- 7+ years of extensive, strong experience in Tableau (End to end report/dashboard creation starting from analysing source data, design and build data model/query and build visualization.
- Knowledge on best practices/principles for report building : scalability, manageability, extensibility, performance, and re-useability of reports with a keen eye on choosing the right approach among multiple design choices.
- Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation.
- Work with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight, improve/automate processes, or otherwise add value to the team.
- Work through iterative review cycles to deliver results that meet or exceed user expectations.
- Ensure consistency by adhering to a set of software coding and style guides.
- Good communication and accountability.
- Understanding of any traditional BI tool (SAP BO, MicroStrategy, Crystal reports, OBIEE etc.) is a plus.
- Prior experience in migrating from traditional BI platform (Legacy) to Tableau is a plus.
