Job Highlights:

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM Pacific (4 hours per day, 20 hours per week)

Job Description

As a Part-time Bookkeeper, you’ll be at the heart of our client’s financial operations, wielding AppFolio to manage a complex web of transactions, reports, and financial tasks. You’ll dive into the exciting world of property management finance, handling everything from rent collection to HOA budgeting. This role offers a unique blend of accounting precision and real estate insight, providing a launchpad for a rewarding career in property management. Responsibilities
  • Generate weekly delinquency reports, ensuring timely rent collection and financial health
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and process owner disbursements, maintaining financial accuracy
  • Manage utility bills across properties, interfacing with various systems and AppFolio
  • Verify maintenance timesheets, create invoices, and ensure proper work order management
  • Assist in bi-weekly payroll processing, cross-referencing timesheets with work orders
  • Handle vendor payments and maintain accurate records in AppFolio
  • Develop and manage basic HOA budgets, contributing to community financial planning
  • Produce timely and accurate financial reports using AppFolio, supporting informed decision-making

  • Proficiency in property management software, particularly AppFolio
  • Strong foundation in bookkeeping principles and practices
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Self-motivated with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Basic understanding of property management operations preferred
