  • Lead, review, and oversee the month-end close process and delivery of financial statements.
  • Architect and maintain dynamic financial forecasts built on KPIs that drive the client’s business.
  • Identify, track, and regularly review key financial drivers for continuous improvement.
  • Provide strategic financial consulting, including compensation planning, cash flow management, budgeting, and lending relationship management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all client deliverables and reports.
  • Interpret and communicate financial data to inform key business decisions.
  • Understand and manage scope of services based on client contracts; price and scope changes as needed.
  • Stay current on trends and best practices; contribute to internal training and knowledge sharing.
  • Attend two mandatory company retreats per year.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong accounting foundation and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
  • Proactive and forward-thinking with a bias for action.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable to changing tools and platforms.
  • Able to work independently with a high degree of ownership.
  • Demonstrated success working with businesses between $1M and $50M in annual revenue.
  • Experience with multiple accounting ledgers such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables required; VBA/macros a plus).
  • Industry experience in construction is a strong plus.
  • Business and personal tax experience is a plus.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
