We're looking for a dynamic VP, Sales, APAC to join our growing Celigo team who will develop and manage a high-performing team to deliver on the tremendous market potential across the Asia-Pacific region.  The right candidate will be collaborative, strategic in thought, with the ability to develop successful relationships across different geographies and functions in a dynamic organization. 

What would you do if hired?

Be a great sales executive and team member:

  • Develop and execute an APAC sales strategy presented to and approved by Executive stakeholders
  • Lead a team of Account Executives, Sales Development Representatives, Strategic Channel Managers, Solutions Consultants, and add talent as the business grows.
  • Personally drive sales to achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives in the region
  • Travel as necessary to accounts and partners in order to develop relationships and close mid-sized and large opportunities
  • Manage sales activity, process, and methodology expectations for maximum efficiency
  • Prepare activity and forecast reports as required 

Be a Celigo Champion:

  • Ensure the successful rollout and adoption of Celigo’s  products by encouraging strong account management activities and coordination with pre- and post-sales engineering and support resources
  • Communicate the current and future value proposition of Celigo to the marketplace
  • Focus on business development to build the pipeline through prospecting, working with marketing in the US, etc.
  • Partner with key SaaS alliance partners to position Celigo as a leading iPaaS vendor. For example, establish new relationships with key partners such as Salesforce, Microsoft, Shopify, etc.  

Be a great leader:

  • Reflect Celigo’s culture, provide inspiration, energy, and a sense of mission
  • Provide ongoing sales coaching, product training, and provide input on sales enablement tools
  • Act as the Site Lead for the APAC region, liaising with all relevant parties (internal and external) to ensure the office operates effectively
  • Attract, develop, and retain top talent

Who are we looking for? 

  • Minimum of 10 years’ progressive hands-on sales leadership experience, including significant experience across the APAC region and proven ability to drive sales/business growth 
  • Track record of personally developing and closing deals 
  • Experience in a highly complex environment (multiple channels to market, etc.) requiring comprehensive knowledge and a proven, successful skill set in managing and developing a sales function within a technical and constantly changing environment 
  • Well-developed understanding of the information technology industry and an expert understanding of selling to mid-market customers
  • Experience leading an organization focused on performance and results in a fast-growing environment. 
  • Possess both strategic and tactical dimensions and capabilities, and the ability to analyze the market, competitors, and company strengths and weaknesses while devising winning sales strategies 
  • Successful track record of leading, energizing, and actively developing people to achieve exceptional results 
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to develop successful relationships across different geos and functions 
  • High degree of integrity
