By combining technical leadership with a customer-centric approach, the Presales Engineering Expert drives innovation and ensures success for key stakeholders, strategic partners and initiatives. Being fluent in Spanish is required for this position.as it will serve the needs of north and south America.

Location: Remote - Western U.S.

Job Overview

The Presales Engineer– Americas is a key technical resource, leveraging advanced expertise in mission-critical video, security, and SaaS solutions, including Physical Security Information Management (PSIM), Video Management Systems (VMS), and Facial Recognition. The role involves designing innovative solutions, articulating industry trends, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, sales teams, integrators, and end-users. This position is instrumental in building strong relationships with partners and clients while showcasing Intellicene’s competitive edge through exceptional solutions design and consulting.

Conversational Spanish is essential for success in this role.



Key Responsibilities


Solutions Development & Technical Leadership

  • Design tailored solutions for key accounts and provide technical expertise to the Sales and Solutions Design Group (SDG).
  • Ensure technical qualification of opportunities, oversee Proof of Concept (PoC) requirements, and assist in proposal preparation throughout north and south America.

Collaboration & Relationship Building

  • Act as a primary liaison between the Product Management, Product Development, and Sales teams.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with consultants, end-users, and partners from presales to post-sales stages.

Customer-Centric Focus

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, presenting actionable insights to Product Development teams quarterly.
  • Oversee complex proposal reviews, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with SDG standards.

Industry Expertise & Strategic Insights

  • Stay updated on emerging industry trends and share insights with colleagues and external audiences.
  • Provide competitive intelligence to guide strategic planning and product enhancements.

Project Management & Governance

  • Manage presales opportunities, ensuring timely and successful project execution.
  • Complete project approval documentation, including business decision tools and change control processes.



Minimum Qualifications


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4-7+ years in technical presales, focusing on enterprise solutions design and deployment.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with engineering, product management, and sales teams.

Skills

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Strong organizational, technical, and customer-facing abilities.
  • Proven ability to excel in a matrixed team environment.


Additional Requirements

  • Proficiency in Spanish and English (bilingual) mandatory.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Successful completion of background screenings, including employment, criminal, credit, and drug checks, as applicable.


Preferred Qualifications



Technical Expertise

  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies (MS OS, MS SQL, MS tools), VMware, virtualization, and storage systems.

Experience

  • Managing large, geographically dispersed partner and customer networks.
  • Working with enterprise software solutions, CCTV systems, and security technologies.

Languages

  • Proficiency in Spanish is required.
  • Proficiency in Portuguese is desirable but not mandatory.
