Description

Cobalt’s Solutions Architect team provides consultative, sales-enabling technical expertise to Cobalt Sales and Customer Success teams and serves as a trusted advisor for Cobalt prospects and customers. As a Solutions Architect with Cobalt, you will support the sales process by collaborating with Cobalt teams and helping prospects and customers better understand the value-added benefits of the Cobalt platform.

What You'll Do
  • Be a technically knowledgeable resource on the Cobalt platform and integrations; customer use-cases and solutioning; asset sizing and pentest scoping; technical sales and positioning.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to build and maintain demo environments, demo scripts, and solution stories that showcase the features, functions, and value of the cobalt platform.
  • Meet with prospects and customers during the sales cycle to perform demos and address technical questions related to asset sizing and pentest scoping, program maturity, platform capabilities, and Cobalt’s overall pentest process.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure effective and efficient customer onboarding.
  • Identify and suggest process improvements that increase team and Cobalt efficiencies as well as collaborate with other team members to execute and standardize process improvements.
  • Stay current with cybersecurity, IT, compliance, and DevOps trends that can benefit from a modernized approach to pentesting.
You Have
  • A character of honesty, integrity, and humility.
  • A passion for cybersecurity and delivering right-fit cybersecurity solutions.
  • A functional understanding of cybersecurity, IT, compliance and DevOps processes and technologies as well as the business drivers for cybersecurity solutions.
  • 2-3 years previous experience in an enterprise-level, customer-facing role such as a Sales Engineer, Customer Success Manager, Technical Account Manager, Solutions Architect or similar role.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills including: the ability to listen and understand; the ability to communicate value; the ability to convey complex topics to both technical and business audiences.
  • A functional balance between technical knowledge, sales aptitude, and business acumen.
Bonus If You Have
  • General familiarity with AppSec and pentest methodologies and frameworks such as OWASP Top 10, ASVS, SANS Top 25, PTES, and OSSTMM.
  • Understanding of security and privacy regulations and their pentest requirements.
  • Cybersecurity certifications such as CEH, GSEC, Security+.

Pay Range Disclosure (For US openings only)

Cobalt is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is ($59,600 - $74,500) per year + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.  The salary range may differ in other states and may be impacted by proximity to major metropolitan cities.
