Position: Automation Expert - Puppet
Location: PAN INDIA

Roles and Responsibilities:

As an Automation Expert specializing in Puppet, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to automate, optimize, and maintain enterprise infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

Automation Expert -Self –Puppet!

·       Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code scripts and templates using Puppet, ensuring resource automation and consistency

·       In-depth knowledge of Puppet is a must have; exhaustive development experience using Puppet DSL

·       AWS, Azure or Google Cloud experience in terms of IaC design build

·       Proficiency in Windows or Linux Server Administration and troubleshooting

·       Basic understanding of AD, SNOW, GIT etc. are good to have

·       Proficiency in PowerShell, PowerCli and Shell scripting.

·       Automation Expertise using PowerShell Scripting.

·       Design, implement, and manage Azure Active Directory environments.

·       Integrate Azure AD with various applications and services.

·       Develop and implement identity and access management policies and procedures.

·       Develop and configure ServiceNow applications and modules.

·       Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using APIs.

·       Create and maintain workflows, business rules, and UI policies.

·       Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in Azure AD and ServiceNow.

·       Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, to set up and enhance CI and CD pipelines

·       Familiarity with CI/CD practices, version control and branching and DevOps methodologies.

·       Must have proven experience with deep technical aspects of enterprise consolidation/ integration projects.

·       Hands-on experience in a complex architectural environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Puppet Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Puppet DSL and automation.
  
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud experience in IaC design and build.
  
• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in PowerShell, PowerCli, and Shell scripting.
  
• Server Administration: Windows or Linux server troubleshooting and management.
  
• DevOps Tools: Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD practices, and version control.
  
• ServiceNow and Azure AD: Experience in managing and integrating ServiceNow and Azure AD environments.
  

Soft Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
  

Additional Skills:

• Basic understanding of Active Directory (AD), ServiceNow (SNOW), and Git.

• Exposure to global client-facing roles and 24/7 operations.
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  
• Certifications in Puppet, Azure, or ITIL are a plus.
