About the role
The Media Finance Manager is part of the Media Department and will partner with our media planning teams across a portfolio of multiple brands, to approve and reconcile media out of pocket spend. The Media Finance Manager will approve all display media invoices and reconcile each month, track approved media SOWs and MAFs (Media Authorization Form) for each campaign. The Media Finance Manager will be asked to attend monthly meetings between media brand teams and agency finance to ensure media finance tracking is correct with all parties. The role will also include managing vendor contracting and onboarding new vendor partners.
What you'll doOversee all aspects of the media vendor billing process, including billing schedules, invoice approvals, monthly reconciliation, invoice/billing discrepanciesEnsure media billing process is implemented across all legacy agencies/LOBsWork with agency finance department and Media Supervisor to implement billing process with a focus on improving cross charge billing processWork collaboratively with client teams to implement pre-billing process Point of contact for all media OOP across Avalere HealthWork closely with Accounts Payable/Receivable to ensure alignment on media finance. Participate in weekly/monthly client teams meetings to ensure media finance tracking is correct with all parties Review and submit vendor contracts for approvalManage the logistics around NDAs and insertion orders for vendorsAbout you Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Media Studies, or Communications 3-5 years of experience in media finance or managing medium-to-large scale media campaigns (both digital and non-digital)Experience with Media Ocean, NetSuite and/or Adobe WorkfrontExceptional knowledge of media buying process Experience communicating with key stakeholders including internal teams and agency partnersAbility to multitask and be a team player in fast paced environmentStrong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, negotiating, and conflict resolution skillsStrong time management skills Strong personal organization What we can offer
