About Sales Director France:

We are looking for a profile who has extensive sales experience within the French med device sector and already has a proven track record of building/expanding new businesses lines & acting as a business developer and building a commercial footprint in the respective market. The Incumbent of this position will be responsible to develop the commercial growth agenda, Leads/executes all commercial activities and be accountable for the commercial performance of the organization.

The candidate already has experience within the general surgery/GYN & URO. Having already worked within the surgical robotics space and/or within the capital goods and service sector is a strong plus.

He/She will hold overall responsibility for all existing customer activities as well as strongly focus to grow Distalmotion`s commercial footprint with the given region.

Being member of the EMEA commercial leadership team the individual closely collaborates with all supporting function and manages/oversees all commercial activities with regards to the commercial roadmap he/she has developed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan regional business performance form strategic to operational /commercial performance
  • Achieve the sales and Installation targets defined by the company.
  • Identify and target potential customers, including hospitals, clinics, and key opinion leaders.
  • Lead the entire sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Inform about relevant changes in the sales territory that might have an impact on future sales.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trustful relationships with customers.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
  • Work closely with Clinical support team, overseeing growth strategy of existing customer base
  • Act as DM Country lead overseeing entire customer portfolio in close collaboration within country clinical support and technical staff.
  • Represent France region within EMEA commercial leadership team
  • Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Attend relevant industry conferences, congresses, and events to promote the Dexter Robot and establishes/expands the company & presence in the market.
  • Cooperation with Health care system stakeholders, procurement organizations and industry partners to develop relationships and business results.
  • Maintain/update and improve CRM capabilities utilizing SFDC.
  • Work in and ethical and compliant manner at all times.
  • Cost budget in line with overall Company target.
  • Conduct demonstrations and presentations of the Dexter Robot, showcasing its capabilities and benefits to physicians and operating room persons.

Work Experience and Education requirements:

  • University degree in business studies, medical technology or engineering specialization is a plus.
  • 10 year experience within medtech area including proven track record of min 5 years in medtech Sales management function.
  • Experience in capital goods/Robotics and service selling is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to develop C-level relationships within hospital segment.
  • Strong “closing” skills in the sales process.
  • Strong cross-functional project management skills for best practice project delivery.
  • Solid business and industry knowledge and experience in managing complex projects.
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills for the alignment of different expectations of different profession groups in customer clinics, e.g. clinical, IT, c - suite.
  • Proven track record of working effectively within local, virtual, multi-cultural, and regional teams.
  • Language: French & Fluent in English.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities required:

  • Self driven: Able to act independently in all matters of core commercial duties: keen and able to develop and drive growth agenda, execute customer acquisition process E2E.
  • Strategic Thinking: the ability to sort tactical from strategic elements and execute accordingly.

  • Good knowledge of the healthcare market and experience working with hospitals and surgical teams within the French region.
  • Understanding and skilled at managing a multi-stakeholder Business-to-Business sale.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and public speaking capability.
