Responsibilities
Handle projects related to the design and development of closures from concept development to SOP milestone.
Develop master sections, packaging, and feasibility studies.
Ensure CAD delivery of the door assembly and its sub-components as per project milestone delivery targets, ensuring all CAE and VA requirements are met.
Possess strong technical skills in door assembly and its sub-components.
Collaborate with Project Lead, Manufacturing, and Supplier Engineering teams for design evolution ensuring feasibility.
Hands-on experience working with PLM tools such as Teamcenter and ENOVIA, and part release knowledge.
Good understanding of structural analysis and CAE requirements for the closures assembly.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including BOM, drawings, specifications, and design change logs.
Optimize designs for weight reduction, cost efficiency, and manufacturability without compromising structural integrity and CAE targets.
Possess problem-solving knowledge and provide design solutions based on CAE assessments.
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders for design convergence.

B.E. Mechanical or Automotive
Essential Skills
Strong technical skills in door assembly and its sub-components.
Good knowledge of GD&T, sheet metal tolerancing, DFA, and DFM.
Hands-on experience working with PLM tools such as Teamcenter and ENOVIA.
Good understanding of structural analysis and CAE requirements for the closures assembly.
Proficiency in using CATIA V5 & V6 for design and development.
Experience with ENOVIA PLM for managing product lifecycle and part release
