Job description

Role Summary:

The Enrollment/Billing Lead Analyst works strategically within Accredo Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to identify risk and opportunity for payors, therapies, and processes that mitigate bad debt, increase cash flow and improve processes relevant to Accredo’ s financial performance. Through this effort, the Enrollment/Billing Lead Analyst role will be responsible for engaging a variety of Cigna matrix partners (e.g. Account Management, Contracting, Underwriting, Accredo Collections, Vendor Management, Clearance, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Accounting) and the appropriate payor points of contact to resolve the identified issues preventing timely and accurate claim payment. 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Financial focus on decreasing bad debt and improving financial performance across RCM accounts receivable

  • Collaborate across multiple stakeholders and work streams to resolve root cause issues impacting receivables

  • Working knowledge of Accredo’s RxHome application, MS products (excel/PowerPoint, Word, Visio & OneNote)

  • Provide direction and guidance regarding policies, procedures, workflows, quality, and training needs

  • Participate in new product implementation calls and communicate within RCM

  • Utilize in-depth knowledge and acumen to monitor trends within RCM, e.g., denials received from payors, therapy trends, and bad debt recovery opportunities for both medical and pharmacy claims

  • Analyzing data against the contract rates to confirm that payors are reimbursing Accredo claims correctly

  • Ability to lead, facilitate and drive results of various RCM projects impacting receivables

Qualifications:

  • Able to work an 8 hour shift within this timeframe: 7am - 6pm EST

  • HS diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree a plus

  • 4+ years' relevant work experience - finance, accounting, revenue cycle management, billing strongly preferred

  • Preferred knowledge of Pharmacy Operations – specifically Evernorth business processes and acumen

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office: Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, formulas), Word, PowerPoint

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Great time management skills

  • Team player with a positive attitude

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Advanced critical thinking skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions

  • Detail oriented with organization skills

  • Ability to identify, analyze and resolve root causes of issues, collaborate across multiple stakeholders, engage leadership for advocacy, and communicate effectively for impact

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions

  • Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a heavy workload


If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 59,700 - 99,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
