About the Role

As a Launch Engineer, you will be responsible for planning production and capacity based on customer requirements, managing sample builds, and preparing detailed reports. You will be expected to design project structures in SAP, develop project plans for software and minor hardware implementation, and coordinate the procurement and commissioning of equipment. You will also take part in layout and process design with a focus on quality, capacity, and ergonomics, while leading production trials and driving continuous improvement. Additionally, you will monitor product and process changes, and implement modifications and corrective actions to support efficient project execution.

What You Will Do

  • Planning of production and production capacity based on customer requirements

  • Managing sample productions and preparing sample production reports

  • Continuous assessment and participation in the improvement of cycle time

  • Designing and creating project structures in SAP (supporting function)

  • Preparing project plans for the implementation of software and minor hardware, including scheduling

  • Layout planning with new equipment and tools; coordinating the relocation of existing layouts

  • Designing and optimizing the production process (main focuses: quality, capacity, ergonomics)

  • Procurement and coordination of equipment and tools for new projects

  • Planning, leading, and executing projects

  • Coordinating the installation and commissioning of equipment (including machine release)

  • Coordinating production trials and participating in continuous improvement

  • Preparing project plans for transferring existing products and processes

  • Monitoring product and process changes, implementing modifications and corrective actions

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Higher education degree in engineering

  • Confident, fluent English communication skills

  • Knowledge of an enterprise resource planning system (preferably SAP’s engineering and production modules)

  • Flexibility, creative thinking, and willingness to work independently

  • Persuasiveness and confident demeanor

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Several years of professional experience in the electronics or automotive manufacturing industry
