Job Description

Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, the Project Engineer will be responsible for engineering and equipment package management support to the Project Team located in the Calgary head office.

Responsibilities

The Project Engineer will be a key member of the project execution team. The successful candidate will develop an excellent understanding of Enersul’s technologies/equipment and build excellent relationships with project execution teams for the new and existing customers. The strategic goals of the position include, but are not limited to:

·Participating in technical reviews with the client’s EPC or technical group.

·Developing and maintaining lasting relationships with key clients.

Identifying and removing bottlenecks experienced during client interactions on quality and expediting.
Working with the project team to manage customer expectations during project delivery.
Understand and implement “Zero Defect” during manufacturing and fabrication phase of the project.
Interaction with sub-vendors to coordinate technical information on a regular basis and through the procurement department for any commercial matters.
Work with R&D team on new product initiatives.

Skills and Requirements

Technical background – Engineering Degree or equivalent.
8 to 10 years of experience in technical roles in related industries such as oil & gas, manufacturing and machinery design.
Solid understanding of design.
Project management experience is an asset.
Domestic and international travel will be required.
