Key responsibilities:

  • Build and manage relationships with IMO partners and key annuity producers, serving as their primary resource.
  • Create and execute marketing and sales strategies aligned with business goals, tracking performance and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Travel regularly to meet with distribution partners, deliver presentations, and provide training on annuity offerings.
  • Act as a liaison between field operations and internal departments to ensure commitments to distributors are met.

Job description

As our Sales Manager, you'll develop, negotiate, implement & document marketing activity and action plans with brokerage distribution relationships to impact business results.

 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

 

  • Base Salary:Minimum: $69,200 - $75,000, plus commission.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

 

  • Build and manage relationships with IMO partners and key annuity producers. You’ll serve as their go-to resource and advocate, helping drive sales and solve challenges as they arise.
  • Create and execute marketing and sales strategies that align with the business goals of each IMO partner. You’ll track performance and adjust plans to keep results on target.
  • Travel regularly to meet with distribution partners, deliver product presentations, and provide training to enhance their understanding of our annuity offerings.
  • Act as the connection point between the field and internal departments (Actuarial, Legal, Customer Service, etc.) to ensure promises made to distributors are fulfilled smoothly.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes. You’ll help our team stay agile and responsive to shifts in the marketplace.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

 

  • Strong experience in annuity sales, ideally working with IMO or third-party distribution partners. A solid understanding of brokerage channels is essential.
  • At least 5 years in financial services sales, with a proven ability to grow relationships and close business.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills—you’re persuasive, professional, and confident presenting to all types of audiences.
  • Strategic thinker who can turn insights into action. You know how to evaluate performance and course-correct when needed.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% to support and grow field relationships. Series 6 & 63 licenses and/or insurance designations are a plus.

  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
