The US Oncology Network is looking for a Remote Business and Revenue Cycle Applications Administrator to join our team at Texas Oncology! This position will support all TxO Locations.

What does the Remote Business and Revenue Cycle Applications Administrator do?
Under general supervision, provides expertise and skills needed to effectively support new applications on the company infrastructure as they apply to the practice. Develop test scripts and conducts QA & UAT for applications and upgrades. Assists in the deployment, installation, and support of business and revenue cycle software. Provides technical expertise in the evaluation of new software products. Reviews product and system quality through reports, dashboards, and audit trails. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, including the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
Responsibilities
The essential duties and responsibilities:
Directs testing activities by creating test scripts, organizing QA & UAT events, reporting issues, and coordinating issue resolution with vendors.
Works on a project basis to determine the best means to deploy and support company software, especially with respect to new applications, technical enhancements, interfaces, and upgrades.
Assists team members and vendors with software design, deployment, installation, or troubleshooting during project transitions from planning to operation.
Provides support during the evaluation of new software products including performance testing, reliability testing, deployment requirements, cost analysis, manpower requirements, and maintainability.
Provides ongoing support and troubleshooting for business and revenue cycle systems.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field
Minimum five years’ experience.
Healthcare software support experience required such as practice management systems, EMR, call center, etc.
Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders are essential.
