Job description

Action Behavior Centers is a leading provider of ABA therapy services for children on the Autism Spectrum. Founded in Austin, Texas, we are looking for a motivated, top-notch Benefits & Eligibility Specialist who wants to be a part of a stellar team and deliver exceptional results. The right candidate will be a natural self-starter with extremely strong attention to detail. We will train on specific task items listed below, although the right fit will quickly and easily pick up responsibilities and manage them on their own.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for verifying patient benefit details regarding ABA therapy for the diagnosis of Autism
  • Communicate with insurance companies via phone and online portals for all patients interested in ABC and current patients experiencing a change of insurance
  • Accurately document patient insurance coverage details utilizing organizational software platforms
  • Effectively communicate patient account details and outstanding accounts to other departments within ABC

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Experience using Excel and Word
  • Great attitude and ability to work autonomously
  • Prioritizes and completes all work in an accurate, effective, and efficient manner
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects as needed

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma/GED Required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
