Job description

Flyer One Ventures - is an early-stage VC fund led and backed by entrepreneurs that invests in ambitious CEE and Ukrainian founders who build global software companies. Our team is based in Portugal, Poland, Ukraine and other European countries. After we invest in startups, we help them with digital marketing, recruiting, PR, business development, and fundraising.

Currently, we are looking for an Investment Analyst to join Flyer One Ventures and work alongside our General Partner.

About You

  • ~2 years of experience in startups, finance, consulting or VC;
  • ideally, familiar with the Ukrainian and European startup ecosystems and understand how venture capital works;
  • enjoy crunching numbers and feel comfortable with Excel or Google Spreadsheets;
  • think and act like a self-driving car: proactive, autonomous, and execution-oriented;
  • you’ve been described as a curious person who asks a lot of questions;
  • can consume and process large amounts of new information and contexts;
  • multi-tasking hero with amazing self-organization and task prioritization skills;
  • eager to learn about different business models and market verticals;
  • comfortable experimenting with AI tools to automate workflows and boost productivity;
  • strong written, communication, and public speaking skills.

What Will You Do

  • manage inbound deal flow and actively source early-stage consumer tech startups;
  • participate in founder calls and conduct due diligence;
  • support with drafting investment memos;
  • conduct market research on various verticals;
  • support the fund’s operations, and investor relations;

As a result, you’ll have a rare symbiosis of skills:

  • proficient in evaluating large volumes of information across diverse verticals and business models;
  • independently manage the investment process - from first screening and founder calls to deep due diligence and memo drafting;
  • sharpen your critical thinking and pattern recognition by working on real deals with high context and speed.
