Job description

ResMed has always applied the best of technology to improve people's lives. Now our SaaS technology is fueling a new era in the healthcare industry, with dynamic systems that change the way people receive care in settings outside of the hospital–and tools that work every day to help people stay well, longer. We have one of the largest actionable datasets in the industry, creating a complete view of people as they move between care settings. This is how we empower providers–with vital insight to deliver the care people need, right when they need it.

We're also ensuring that our health solutions connect to other companies' networks. Because when objectives align, everyone wins. And as we work today to drive better care and lower costs, we're developing more personalized solutions for tomorrow, utilizing machine learning, intelligent care paths, and predictive protocols. If you are an innovator who wants to make an impact we want to talk to you! We have exciting opportunities supporting Brightree by ResMed and MatrixCare by ResMed!

As key member of the Home Health & Hospice (HH) Senior Leadership Team, the Head of Product (HoP) for the HH business vertical must provide the leadership - both functionally and culturally - for our teams responsible for the overall experience of MatrixCare’s customers. This role requires strong customer management and business consultancy skills, knowledge of technology, delivery of software-as a-service, software sales and delivery, and a passion to help and serve customers. A market facing position, the HoP will be expected to interface regularly with post-acute care customers, building relationships and customer centricity.  Additionally, the HoP will be expected to create and lead the development of thought leadership to further enhance and build the MatrixCare brand.

The HoP will define and lead the strategy and execution of HH software products as part of the Resmed Residential Care Services (RCS) portfolio. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end product innovation processes from ideation through product/feature launch. Accountable for supporting growing revenue, increasing operational efficiency, defining product roadmaps and executing implementation plans to get the right solution, to the right customer, at the right price, time, quality, cost and complexity. They will represent a deep understanding of the needs of the customer and the market and drive requirements into the product strategy, vision and roadmap. This role is the face of the product, owning the product roadmap and evangelizing the product internally and externally. They will be a great influencer and team player while understanding the wider HH strategy and direction and how it all fits with the global Resmed strategy. Key activities include:

  • Understand customer and market needs. Contribute customer, product and market knowledge to inform decisions on product vision and strategy
  • Translate market requirements into technical requirements for engineering teams
  • Develop and align the product roadmap with the commercial and product strategy
  • Participate in face-to-face activities with customers including advisory boards, customer visits and presenting at trade shows

The HoP will be expected to take a metrics and performance-optimized approach to management.  In addition to establishing core performance, satisfaction and engagement metrics and accountability, the HoP will bring a keen understanding of not only the customer journey but also the drivers of profitability within a growth-oriented SaaS environment. This experienced senior leader will own and be responsible for driving the retention, renewal, and ultimate success of MatrixCare’s customers.
