About the Role
As our Social Media Campaigner, you will be on the front lines of CitizenGO’s digital advocacy. You will manage our global Facebook and Instagram presence and collaborate with Campaigners around the world to drive bold, consistent, values-driven messaging.
This is a strategic, high-impact role. You will craft social-first campaign strategies that spark action, shape public opinion, and hold power to account. From content creation and paid ads to analytics and cross-platform strategy, you’ll own every aspect of our social media battlefront.
You’ll report to the Senior Project Manager for Global Campaigns and work hand-in-hand with our X Specialist to ensure coherence and punch across platforms.

What You'll Do
- You will manage CitizenGO’s global Facebook and Instagram accounts—ensuring consistency, relevance, and maximum advocacy impact
- You will lead the creation of platform-first content, including copy, graphics, and short-form video
- You will craft high-impact campaign strategies that leverage each platform's strengths for political and cultural influence
- You will collaborate with local Campaigners to grow and support their regional Facebook and Instagram efforts
- You will coordinate with the X Specialist to maintain consistent messaging and timing across all major platforms
- You will manage and scale paid social campaigns, setting budgets, testing creatives, and optimizing results
- You will establish a global paid-ads framework that supports and amplifies local campaigns
- You will analyze performance metrics to optimize content, targeting, and campaign strategies
- You will provide strategic input across departments to align social with CitizenGO’s broader advocacy goals
- You will stay on top of platform trends, algorithm shifts, and best practices—always one step ahead
Who you are
- You have professional experience in social media storytelling or community management
- You understand the mechanics, nuances, and algorithms of Facebook and Instagram
- You can interpret social media performance metrics and apply insights to future strategy
- You have strong copywriting skills and a knack for turning complex issues into compelling content
- You are familiar with geo-targeted and paid social campaigns—and know how to make them convert
- You’re comfortable working with digital tools and eager to pick up new ones
- You are strategic and creative, able to zoom out for vision and zoom in for execution
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and stay focused under pressure
- You bring high professionalism, a collaborative spirit, and a results-driven mindset
- You are deeply committed to defending life, family, and freedom
- You have at least a B2-level proficiency in English. (Duolingo English Test required for non-natives, minimum score of 100). Spanish and other languages are a plus
- You are at ease in a hierarchical, mission-aligned, and collaborative team structure
