About the AU Mortgage Loan Processor Role

This isn’t your typical back-office role. As our Mortgage Loan Processor, you’ll be the crucial link between our clients and their lending solutions. You’ll handle everything from prepping loan scenarios to processing variations with lenders—all while keeping documentation compliant and clients happy.
You’ll work with mortgage brokers to assess client needs, prepare applications, and follow through until that glorious "Approved" message hits the inbox. Your role is critical in ensuring smooth, accurate, and compliant loan processing that sets clients up for success.

Your Key Responsibilities

Loan Preparation & Submission:
  • Prepare loan scenarios using lender calculators and policy guides.
  • Collect and review client documents (ID, payslips, bank statements, etc.).
  • Enter application data into lender systems (ApplyOnline, LoanApp).
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness before submission.
Order Valuations & Request Pricing:
  • Arrange property valuations through lender portals.
  • Submit pricing requests to lenders and negotiate rate discounts.
  • Follow up on valuation reports to ensure timely delivery.
Handle Loan Variations:
  • Manage changes to existing loans (e.g., fix-to-variable, split loans, redraws).
  • Liaise with lenders and clients to ensure correct documentation is submitted.
Compliance & Documentation:
  • Generate and complete compliance documents (Credit Quotes, Credit Guides, Preliminary Assessments).
  • Ensure all regulatory requirements are met (NCCP Act, Best Interest Duty).
Marketing & Business Development Support:
  • Assist with content scheduling, social media posts, newsletters, and CRM marketing automation.
  • Support client events or promotions as needed.

  • You’ve got 2+ years of experience in loan processing, credit analysis, or financial administration.
  • You know how to prepare and submit loan applications through systems like ApplyOnline, LoanApp, or Simpology.
  • You’ve handled valuations, compliance documentation, and loan variations without breaking a sweat.
  • You’re experienced in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and document tracking platforms.
  • If you’ve done any marketing support—like scheduling content or managing newsletters—that’s a plus.
