Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: M-F 8am - 5pm with either a one hour unpaid lunch break or four 15-minute breaks


Inside Phone Sales – Daily Task List
  1. Answer Inbound Sales Calls

    • Provide information on pest control services

    • Qualify leads and close sales

  2. Make Outbound Follow-Up Calls

    • Contact warm leads and past customers

    • Upsell seasonal or additional services to existing customers

  3. Schedule Appointments

    • Coordinate technician visits

    • Confirm service details and customer availability

  4. Update CRM Software

    • Log all notes and sales activities

    • Maintain accurate customer records

  5. Handle Basic Customer Service Inquiries

    • Address questions about pricing, service prep, or re-treatments

    • Escalate complex issues to appropriate department

  6. Meet Daily/Weekly Sales Targets

    • Track progress and report performance to sales manager



Requirements

The top skills and/or experience would be: 

  • Strong Communication Skills

    • Clear, confident speaking and writing abilities, with active listening skills to build rapport and uncover needs.

  • Proven Inbound Sales Experience 

    • Demonstrated success in qualifying inbound leads and disciplined follow up experience to close deals.

  • CRM Proficiency

    • Hands-on experience with tools like Salesforce or HubSpot, with a track record of accurately logging activities and using data to guide follow-ups.

  • Objection Handling & Closing Ability

    • The ability to confidently handle rejection and convert hesitant leads into customers through persuasive, consultative selling.

  • Self-Motivation, Time Management, Ability to Multi-Task

    • A disciplined work ethic and the ability to manage tasks independently, meet goals, and stay productive without constant supervision.
