Position Overview: AKAM is seeking a Risk Manager with experience in Commercial Condo/Coop Habitational Insurance to assist the Director of Risk Management overseeing insurance on 700 Properties in NY & FL.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Evaluate existing coverages, explain and make recommendations as needed
Work with Insurance Brokers, Property Managers, Condo/Coop Boards, internal team and others on insurance issues
Phone & Video meetings with above for all aspects insurance related; coverage discussion, claims handling, renewal marketing & presenting, etc
Some Virtual Board meetings in evenings

Qualifications:

NY P&C Licensed
Minimum 5-7 years with Condo/Coop Habitational lines servicing experience
Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
Public Speaking ability a must to present to Condo/Coop Board virtually
Ability to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insurance
Detail oriented with good mathematical and communication skills
Superior customer service skills
Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
