Posting Salary Range: $43,497 - $57,289

Office Location: Remote within North Carolina.

What We’re Looking For

Trillium Health Resources has a career opening for a Purchasing Supervisor to join our Finance Department team. This role is responsible for supervising the Purchasing Associates and will provide guidance as needed to ensure that invoices and purchase orders are reviewed and processed in a timely manner. On a typical day, you might:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Purchasing Associates, in support of the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.

 

  • Review, monitor, and evaluate the work of the Purchasing Associates.

 

  • Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures.
     
  • Process transactions into the financial software and verify all transactions are substantiated and complete by collecting and reviewing appropriate documentation in a timely manner.

 

  • Review the Chart of Accounts and accurately assign the proper account code to each transaction.
     
  • Perform analysis on invoices for providers upon request.

 

  • Oversee any additional research, including payment status. Correspond with external stakeholders as needed. Save and attach supporting files for payment processing.

 

  • Monitor and reconcile Purchase Order (PO) expenses for budgeting purposes.

 

  • Provide additional support and guidance to other departments as needed.

 

  • Assist the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager in tracking all contract spending for contractual funds.

 

  • Oversee the entire purchasing process, from requisition to payment, including receipt of proper documentation, to ensure efficiency, compliance with company policy, and audit readiness.

 

  • Prepare and review reports on KPI’s for Leadership.

 

  • Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and assist in negotiating contracts to secure the best possible terms.

 

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

Education/Experience:
High School diploma/GED and minimum six (6) years of experience in business or business-related field.

OR

Associate’s degree and minimum of four (4) years of experience in business or business-related field.

OR

Equivalent combination of education/experience.


Preferred Education: 
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.


Preferred Experience: 

  • Experience with Purchase Orders
  • Experience in Accounting field
  • Experience with D365 Financial System
  • Experience with Smartsheet

License/Certification: 
Must have a valid driver’s license

Remote within North Carolina. 
Must reside in NC to be considered for remote status.
