We're looking for an experienced Payroll Operations Specialist to oversee end-to-end payroll operations at our fast-paced IT consulting firm. This role is critical in ensuring payroll accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple countries, including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Europe.

About the job:
  • Managing accurate and timely processing of multiple semi-monthly payrolls for employees across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Europe for 350+ employees
  • Ensuring the correct application of deductions, tax withholdings, and benefits
  • Maintaining full compliance with all payroll-related local, state, federal, and international laws and regulations
  • Administering and optimizing payroll systems, with a focus on Paychex, Payworks, and Remote.com
  • Creating, analyzing, and maintaining payroll reports and records
  • Identifying areas for operational improvement and leading payroll process enhancements
  • Collaborating with HR on benefits programs and employee compensation
  • Assisting the Finance team with bill reconciliation for self-funded health and welfare plans
  • Monitoring and reporting on benefit funding, including FSA, HSA, and commuter benefits
  • Supporting internal and external audits by providing accurate, timely documentation

  • About you:
  • Are highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Excel at working independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Are comfortable managing international payrolls in a fast-paced, consulting environment
  • Are a strong communicator and confident leader
  • Have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for payroll accuracy and compliance
  • 4-6+ years of payroll experience, including global payroll (U.S., Canada, U.K., Europe)
  • Proficient in Paychex and experienced with payroll system administration
  • Solid understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and benefits administration
  • Experience generating reports and supporting payroll audits
