Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proficient Xero Accountant to to join a fast-growing tech client specializing in AI-driven procurement and inventory management solutions tailored for the dynamic food and beverage (F&B) industry. Their innovative platform streamlines restaurant operations by automating purchasing, inventory tracking, recipe costing, and waste control. With integrated modules for central kitchen management and enterprise system connectivity, the company ensures seamless data flow across POS, accounting, and HR platforms, supporting operational efficiency for F&B businesses across the region

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full sets of accounts for multiple F&B clients using Xero accounting software
  • Oversee daily transaction entries, bank reconciliations, AR/AP management, and month-end closing activities
  • Utilize a cloud-based procurement and inventory platform to track inventory movements, purchases, and costing for F&B outlets
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
  • Liaise with clients to resolve accounting issues, provide tax planning insights, and offer operational improvement recommendations
  • Stay updated on tax compliance requirements in Hong Kong and advise clients accordingly
Requirements:
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in the F&B or hospitality sector
  • Proven hands-on experience using Xero accounting software in a client servicing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin to liaise confidently with Hong Kong-based clients and stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of F&B inventory management, cost control, and financial reporting
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of English for internal communications and report writing
