Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled Remote Sourcing Specialist with 4-5 years of experience and a headhunting mindset. The ideal candidate will excel in building robust talent pipelines across various industries, with an initial focus on sourcing Senior, Intermediate, and Junior Accountants. However, we are also looking for someone adaptable and proactive, capable of sourcing top-tier talent for other professional roles as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source and engage accounting, admin, marketing, and operations talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and direct outreach.
  • Conduct quick initial screenings to prequalify candidates before handing off to recruiters.
  • Build and maintain segmented talent pools by role and client type.
  • Submit weekly sourcing reports including activity metrics, talent insights, and recommendations.
  • Partner closely with the recruitment team to align sourcing strategies per client/project.
  • Adjust sourcing strategies based on candidate market behavior and client feedback.

Qualifications:

  • 45 years experience as a Recruitment Sourcing Specialist (headhunting exposure preferred).
  • Proven success sourcing mid- to senior-level professionals, especially accountants.
  • Strong in passive sourcing techniques (Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, market mapping).
  • Organized, metrics-driven, and adaptable to shifting priorities across multiple clients.
  • Clear written and verbal English communication skills.

Essential Functions and Duties

  1. Proactive Candidate Sourcing (35%)
    Proactively source and identify qualified candidates for accounting and multidisciplinary roles using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, and job boards. This involves leveraging advanced search techniques and building a deep understanding of market dynamics to identify top talent.
  2. Talent Pool Management (25%)
    Build and maintain segmented talent pools by role and client type, ensuring pipelines are continuously updated and aligned with ongoing and future needs. This includes categorizing candidates based on skill sets, industry experience, and client requirements.
  3. Initial Candidate Outreach (15%)
    Conduct initial outreach and candidate prequalification screenings, including assessments of work readiness, cultural fit, and alignment with client expectations. This step sets the foundation for a positive candidate experience and effective hiring.
  4. Collaboration and Strategy Alignment (10%)
    Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to align sourcing strategies and adjust approaches based on market response and client needs. This involves regular communication to refine sourcing tactics and ensure a consistent talent pipeline.
  5. Activity Reporting (10%)
    Generate and submit weekly sourcing activity reports, including key metrics, challenges faced, and recommendations for process improvements. This documentation helps track progress and refine sourcing strategies over time.
  6. Market Insights and Continuous Improvement (5%)
    Contribute insights on sourcing trends, candidate behavior, and potential process improvements to enhance the overall talent acquisition process. This includes staying updated on industry best practices and leveraging data to optimize recruitment efforts.
