We are seeking a Software Engineer I (Reliability) to join our team. This is a remote opportunity based in Costa Rica.
Job Summary
As a Software Engineer I, you will work closely with experienced developers to build, test, and maintain backend services that power our core applications. Imprivata Privileged Access Security (PAS) offer a highly available and performant connectivity framework that uses SSH (secure shell) to create a connectivity platform for remote support. The appliance also offers advanced auditing capabilities and centralized management for remote access.
Duties and Responsibilities
Improving product quality and performance.
Designing, building, and maintaining tools and frameworks to test the reliability and scalability of PAS systems
Working with other engineering teams (QE, Dev, DevOps) to promote the adoption and usage of our test frameworks and tools
Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and support.
Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems using team provided technical documentation.
Other duties as assigned and required.
Qualifications
0-2 years of experience in computer science or software engineering, or some relevant experience in systems engineering as it relates to testing, reliability, security, and observability.
Familiarity developing, maintaining, and supporting complex applications.
Ability to excel in small-group work environments with team-related goals.
Coding skills in Java or C#.
Ability to learn new concepts in a fast-paced environment.
