The Opportunity

We’re at the forefront of building AI agents for risk teams here at Inscribe. Security is at the core of our ability to build trust with our customers. We’re looking for a Security Engineer to design, implement, and monitor security systems and policies that protect our platform, data, and customers. You’ll have a significant impact on our infrastructure, operations, and security culture.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement systems to prevent, detect, and respond to security incidents across cloud and application infrastructure

  • Lead threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews of applications and architecture

  • Collaborate with engineers to integrate security best practices into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows

  • Manage and monitor cloud security configurations (AWS) and related tooling

  • Drive our compliance efforts (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001) by providing evidence and process improvements

  • Respond to security incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and prepare incident reports

  • Educate and train employees on security awareness and best practices

About You
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in application or infrastructure security

  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, etc.)

  • Strong knowledge of network security, secure coding principles, and common vulnerabilities (OWASP, SAST/DAST)

  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and security tooling integration into CI/CD

  • Practical knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)

  • Strong communication and documentation skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a remote-first, fast-paced environment

Interview Process
  1. Initial Screen with the Hiring Manager to share your experience (45 min)

  2. Take Home Technical Exercise followed by a live discussion with 1-2 team members to assess your technical ability (1 hour)

  3. Check In Call with the Head of People to understand your motivations and expectations (30 minutes)

  4. Meet our CTO to discuss Inscribe’s vision and align on values (45 minutes)
