Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Four (4) years nursing experience
Current Arkansas State Board of Nursing License
Ability to obtain National Certification
BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
BSN
Critical/acute care and/or experience in at least one of the following: end stage organ disease or solid organ transplantation.
CCTC
Special knowledge, abilities and skills:
Sound knowledge base of UNOS policy and CMS regulatory requirements in relation to organ allocation, waitlist management as well as ongoing patient status updating.

Responsibilities:
Demonstrates competence in the care of people with renal, hepatic, cardiac, and respiratory failure, diabetes, cardiopulmonary disease, hypertension, and other disorders related to transplantation.
Provides input to leadership in the standardization of training and procedures related to call support and after-hours organ allocation processes.
Develops education and training modules for on-site call nurses, and provides related training and coaching to ensure proficiency in call support amongst all call nurses.
Function as liaison between OPO’s (organ procurement organizations), HLA Lab, and Transplant Department programs and staff.
Actively partners with the Transplant Quality Manager to ensure knowledge and compliance of policy changes and updates.
Performs other duties as assigned.
