Day in the Life of an Alternative Medications Program Assistant
  • Answer phone calls regarding scheduling issues and/or reschedules for Alternative Medications patients.

  • Participate with Case Management for patients on Alternative Medications.

  • Determines eligibility by comparing patient information to requirements.

  • Provides patient care by explaining procedures and answering any questions that may arise.

  • Maintains and improves quality results by adhering to standards and guidelines.

  • Continuing education on medications offered.

  • Assisting with ordering medications via Specialty Pharmacies, setting up deliveries, and ensuring deliveries arrive at offices within specified time frame.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Hours and Schedule

Expected hours for this role are 40 hours per week. Position is fully remote.

Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Education and Licensure Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree preferred
    • Experience working in substance abuse preferred
